No. 231 "Brother Amos" | Maple & Walnut Cutting Board, 15.5x11
Maple and walnut. 15.5 by 11 inches, 3/4 inch thick. Bright maple field with dark walnut stripes running across it. Clean, plain, and it works with everything.
Natural color, no stain. The two most trusted kitchen woods, doing what they do best. Every board is cut from a different stack, so the figure is never the same twice.
Edge grain. Milled, glued, flattened, shaped and sanded by hand in East Tennessee, then finished with food safe mineral oil and beeswax. Both food safe. Neither one is a snack.
Care
Treat it like cast iron, not like a dish. Hand wash warm, towel dry, stand it on edge to dry the rest of the way. No dishwasher. No soaking. Oil it when it looks thirsty, about once a month.

Keep it fed. A 4 oz tin of board butter, the same mineral oil and beeswax I finish every board with, is here.
